VanceTel logo: California business phone system provider based in Orange County
Founder-led. SMB-first. National.

Built in Tustin. Serving businesses across the USA and Canada.

A small business phone service for the USA and Canada, coast to coast, from California, Texas, Florida, and New York to Toronto and Vancouver. Headquartered in Tustin, California. A real US-based human picks up. No offshore queue, no ticket number.

The short version

VanceTel is a small business VoIP and cloud PBX provider: a national business phone service with cloud PBX, SIP trunking, business SMS, and a softphone for small businesses across the USA and Canada. Founder-led, headquartered in Tustin, California. A real US-based human picks up.

Our story

We answer our own phone. We install our own gear.

Most small business owners deserve a small business phone software provider they can actually reach. The national carriers stopped offering that around the time they figured out how to scale a tier-one queue overseas. VanceTel exists to give SMBs across the United States real human customer service, a hosted business phone system (cloud PBX, SIP trunking, hosted VoIP, business communication software, native business SMS) that works on day one, and pricing on the page, not behind a sales call. In addition, field install service is available in Southern California (Orange County, LA, San Diego) as one extra offering, but our core product runs nationwide.

Most California small businesses deserve a telecom partner that picks up. That drives to the office. That bills predictably. VanceTel exists to bring that back to the SMB market, without the cost premium.

One bill

Every extension, every seat: one invoice, one number to call, one team accountable.

Talk to a real person before you switch.

Real U.S.-based support picks up. No script, no runaround.

Meet the founder

The person who answers when something breaks

Matthew

Founder and CEO

Matthew, Founder and CEO, runs operations and personally handles the relationship with most accounts. Your account has a name, not a ticket number. Matthew or someone on his team picks up when you call. No script-reading, no offshore handoff, no tier-three runaround. Customers reference him by name on Yelp and Google because he is usually the person who walked them through the port, configured their cloud PBX, and answered the first support call.

Offices

FAQ

Common questions

VanceTel has served small businesses for 15+ years and continues to grow across the U.S. The company has grown without losing the founder-led posture: the same operator who answered the first support call still runs the dispatch board and answers escalations directly.

Headquarters are in Tustin, California. That is where engineering coordinates and where customer support is staffed. We also run operations and engineering offices in Portland, Oregon and Boston, Massachusetts. All three offices support customers across the USA and Canada.

For most small-business accounts, yes. Matthew or one of his core team handles your onboarding and stays as the primary relationship contact. Larger multi-site rollouts may involve additional engineers, but the relationship layer stays consistent and is documented in your account file from day one.

When your phones go down, you do not have time for a tier-one queue or a ticket that takes 48 hours. A real US-based human picks up, knows your account by name, and either fixes it on the call or escalates directly to an engineer. For customers in Southern California, we can also send a technician on-site as a bonus, but most issues never need that.

Business phone systems (cloud VoIP, cloud PBX, desk phones, and a softphone for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, and Windows) available across the U.S. Southern California customers also get on-site install and number porting from the Tustin team. One system, one bill, one human to call.

Medical and dental offices, law firms, insurance agencies, retail businesses, construction companies, churches, professional service firms, and security or patrol services. From dental offices in Tampa to law firms in Tulsa, owners coast to coast run their front-desk phone, SMS, and voicemail on VanceTel.
